This property is full of wildlife! This property is in an area with high deer concentration and with in the Maple River Quality Deer Management area. It is also with in the CWD management zone, and starting with this fall (2019) a trial period of mandatory antler point restrictions on both antlered deer tags.
This property was a working small dairy operation up until about 16 years ago. Most of the property was tillable and approximately 55 acres was planted to row crops. Those acres could be converted back into row crops again with some work. This could bring in a decent income for the new owner.
A small home, a storage shed, and a pole barn sit at the front of the property. The house would make a great deer camp. A narrow lane runs to the back of the property where there is approximately 15 acres of mature woods. There is marketable timber to be sold. The seller received a quote of around $10,000 for the available timber, my estimate is that its worth more than that. Heavy deer trails criss cross the woods and over grown fields. Apple trees are scattered through out the property. Many, many acres are ready for native warm season grasses and food plots.
