The Hunt Guard Trousers will be your trusted companion whilst on those multi-day hunting expeditions that will have you covered in all conditions. Thanks to their low profile and active stretch fit, you can move above and below the bushline freely without restriction and the brushed internal fabric provides extra comfort against the skin. These trousers actively shed water, blood and dirt thanks to the DWR coating. Due to the nature of the fabric, we would recommend wearing gaiters or chaps if you are moving through dense, rough, scrub country ie. Matagouri, Gorse and Blackberry.

Fabric Technology

The Hunt Guard Trousers uses Toray Primeflex™ Technology. The stretch in Toray Primflex™ is made without the addition of water-absorbing, heavy Lycra or Spandex. The Patented Crimped Bi-component yarn reacts like a spring for high levels of stretch and return. Brushed on the inside for next to skin comfort and coated with an environmentally friendly C0 DWR on the hard face outside to shed water, dirt and blood. Toray Primeflex™ blurs the line between hardshell and softshell fabrics.

The Hunt Guard trousers have been specifically designed for the active hunter who likes to climb high and prioritises comfort and full range of movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent and gentle wash at a temperature below 40º Celsius. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment.

Care after every use: Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully DRY before you store it away. Ensure that the environment where you store your garments is in a dry damp-free place. Ensure rainwear items are hanging up and not stored in a cram bag or screwed up in a heap.

Durable Water Repellency (DWR): If you notice that the water is not beading off the outer surface it’s time to replenish the DWR. Wash your garment through a standard wash cycle (use liquid detergent), then you can wash it again using an in-wash DWR replenisher (at 30°C) OR a spray on DWR replenisher. Dry the garment at a LOW temperature in a tumble dryer or air dry.
